Apologizing can be hard to do, especially if your mistake was triggered by the blatant misdeed of another.  You may angrily state that you will apologize only if the other person apologizes first.  If pride rules though, no healing can take place.  Letting go of pride and being the first to apologize often softens hearts and speeds relationship recovery.  This small, but profound, truth was demonstrated in our family this weekend. 

Peace has been the result.  Peace in the home.  Peace in the heart.
