Misterbooks tagged me.  Since I am knew to the blogging world, I don’t know how often one gets “tagged” in the blogosphere, so I decided to make this a permanent page on my blog rather than a post.  If it generates more traffic to the blogs of those I tag, great!  I will have accomplished something good.  The blogs I am choosing to tag are sites I try to visit regularly because I enjoy what the authors write.  They are a diverse group and quite talented in their writing.  After visiting their sites I always have something to think about or a great story to share.  Had Misterbooks not been the one to tag me, his site would have been included in the list as well.

The rules:

1.  Link to the person who tagged you.

2.  Post the rules on your blog.

3.  Write six random things about yourself.

4.  Tag six random people at the end of your post by linking to their blogs.

5.  Let each person know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their website.

6.  Let your tagger know when your entry is up.

Six random things about kweenmama:

*My father is a retired firechief and my brother is a firefighter so I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the men and women who serve in that occupation.

*My very first job was washing bottles and waiting on customers in my grandpa’s dairy.

*I will never try oysters on the half shell.  Ick.

*I was once embarrassed by singing loudly in a public restroom (I thought I was alone).

*I am an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

*I lived in a 29 room church for three years.  No, the church was no longer being used as a church.

  6. mysticmiss Says:

oh yes one more thing i like the style of your blog, do the try this, quote the week etc come automatically wit the blog or di you create it?

hope you do not htink i am beig cheeky for asking..i am not intending to be.. just a 2month old blogger who has no clue

  7. kweenmama Says:

Mysticmiss, The “Try This!” and “Quote of the Week” are text widgets that I added to my blog myself. You can use text widgets to write anything you want in the sidebar.

Tagging happens occasionally. It’s sort of like a game. If someone “tags” you they let you know in a comment on one of your posts and then put a link that you can click on to read the rules of that particular tag. You can choose to play or not to play.

Welcome to the blogging world! I’ve only been at it for 4 1/2 months.
