My two weeks of “Joyful Reports” are now over. It was amazing to me how much good I found, how much more positive I was, and how blessed I felt as I performed this two-week experiment. Even though the two weeks are over, I plan on looking for joy each day–it is such a better way to live!
I now get back to my regular Monday/Thursday blogging schedule, also a good thing, since I have taken on two more “projects” that are going to take up quite a bit of time. I will blog about those after each is further along.

For much of my life, I overlooked and dismissed the notion of looking for the positive in all circumstances.
I discovered I had developed the habit of expecting life’s circumstances to impart joy into me.
How foolishly and naively my trust was placed… expecting the random and flawed circumstances of life and behaviours of others to serve up happiness to me.
It wasnt until having gone through much calamity, and finally hitting a very deep and painful bottom that I finally discovered that happiness, contentment, peace, and many other positive feelings started with me first being healthy internally, then focusing on the positive in all circumstances… which I have discovered is, without exception, always there. We simply have to look hard for it some times.
But this then is a new set of skills and habits we can learn to build. The skill of finding the positive and truly embracing it when we find it. We get better and better at being able to look past the negative or painful in circumstances and extract the positive.
The results for me have been more energy, more focus, more productivity in all areas of life.
Sound so simple but it is very real and very powerful.
Glad your experiment showed you the same.
Ciao.
